Certified Scuba Lessons for Rebreather Diving

Dive Valhalla
This is a unique dive site, located inside a former Atlas missile silo base that flooded with water. For the past 20 years, we have conducted Scuba dives there for groups, shops, and dive clubs. On this dive, you see anything left behind after it was salvaged. Akin to diving at a wreck site, only this time it's a Cold War missile base.

Dive Length
The dive is about 20 to 25 minutes long in water depths of a little over 100 feet. This dive is recommended for divers of advanced and above levels of experience. Dive Valhalla is available by appointment only. Contact us for pricing and scheduling.

Poseidon Rebreather Training
Family Scuba Center also offers training classes on the use of the Poseidon Rebreather. Rebreathers are designed to provide the perfect gas mix to reduce the risk of decompression sickness and narcosis, while extending dive times to an excess of two hours. Rebreathers recirculates exhaled air through a canister that scrubs (removes) the carbon dioxide and replaces the oxygen that was consumed in the last breathing cycle.

Poseidon Rebreathers are the top of the line in the recreational market today and are safer and easier to use than any other rebreather or open circuit system.
